Have you ever gotten to the end of a bag of coffee beans and wondered what to do with the few beans that remain? You’ll see plenty of guides out there on what to do with spent grounds, what about the beans? Here is a perfect choice to make a scented candle out of them.
Materials you will need:
- Coffee Beans
- White candles
- An used paper juice box
Ccut the candle, take out the wick and melt the water bath. While the wax is melted, take the wick, install it as shown in the photo. Then add the coffee beans into the melted wax. Hold on a steam bath for 10 minutes and you can place the coffee beans in the shape.
Let the wax cool slightly.
Once a first layer is cool, pour the melted wax into the mold. And again let the wax cool. Remove the candle mold when the wax is dry. Candle wax should take about 12 hours to dry completely, but may take longer in high temperatures.
Trim the candle’s wick. When the candle has been removed from the mold, untie the wick from the chopstick. Trim the wick so that it is flush with the bottom of the candle and extends about half an inch (1 cm) from the top of the candle.
